We will begin with operational amplifiers and number of practical applications. Some of the models used will be helpful in more complicated electronic circuits. The important principles of linearity and superposition essential to more advanced study in electronic circuits will be reviewed.
The analysis of AC circuits and representation of sinusoids is critical to the understanding of electrical engineering. In this module we will review the concepts of phasors and impedance. The solution of AC circuits is easily done with phasor notation, and after a review of complex numbers, we will discuss how to use phasors to analyze circuits with sinusoidal excitations.
